Fragrant Asian marinated Pork steak

Ingredients

4 lean pork loin steaks, thick cut
ΒΌ cup soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tblsp lime juice
1 tsp fish sauce
Steamed Asian greens to serve
Lime wedges to serve

Method:

1. Trim pork steaks and place in a shallow non-metallic dish.

2. Whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, lime juice and fish sauce and pour over the steaks. Allow to marinate for up to 4 hours, turning frequently.

3. Pre-heat a pan, griddle pan or BBQ to a medium-high heat.

4. Cook the steaks for 6 minutes on one side without turning. Turn over once and cook for a further 2 minutes.

5.Remove steaks from the heat and rest for 2 minutes before serving.

6. Serve over braised Asian greens with a wedge of lime.

Notes:
Pork fillet may be used in place of loin steaks in this dish.
